The recently opened Silver Star Casino in Krugersdorp has been blown away by the storm.

It happened at midday on Tuesday when boxing promoters Dingaan Thobela, Jeff Ellis and Allan Young presented Jared "The Storm" Lovett to Loureez Pienaar from the casino.

Lovett, from the south of Johannesburg, who commands a huge following, will top Dingaan Thobela-Knockout Boxing Promotions' first box-and-dine at the casino on September 25.

Lovett, 23, who has blown away all three of his victims to date since he made his professional debut in April, will belt it out with the vastly experienced Toto Mubenga from the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Ellis, Young and Philip Silver, who relocated to Australia early this year just before Thobela came on board as a co-owner, were the first to promote box-and-dine tournaments, which have since become a popular vehicle to bring lost fans back to boxing.

Pienaar issued a storm warning to fainthearted fans.

Mubenga, 38, who is trained by George Khosi in Hilbrow, boasts 12 wins (only three knockouts), seven losses and two draws.

Lovett and Mubenga shared the ring in their last fights on August 15. Lovett stopped Ben Moakamela in two while Mubenga retired in the third round against Reuben Groenewald.

Meanwhile, promising fighters Kyle Bothma, Jason Bedeman, Kyle Smith, Steven Castle, and former WBU middleweight champion Groenewald will feature in undercard fights. Action is scheduled to start at 8pm.
