Aphelele Fortunate Daniso of Orlando East was a talented young singer who looked forward to a promising career ahead of her.
Daniso, 19, died last Thursday at Helen Joseph Hospital after a long illness.
She was born in Queenstown in the Eastern Cape. She started school at Bennet Isaacs Primary School before attending Westbury Secondary School where she was doing Grade 12.
A young woman of faith, she was a musician and a dancer.
Her voice will be missed by the Soweto Melodic Voices where she sang and her school's choral music choir.
"We were expecting a lot from her academic and music career because she had great potential," said her aunt Sharon.
Daniso is survived by her sister Sisanda.
She will be buried at West Park Cemetery tomorrow. The service will be held at Christ the King Anglican Church in Sophiatown, starting at 7am.
