Majimbos are determined to get their 2009 African Under-17 Championships qualifiers off to a great start with a win over Malawi in Eldorado Park tomorrow.
Kickoff is at 3pm.
"We are well prepared for Malawi, it will be a tough one but they won't survive," said right-back Doctor Mampuru, the team's captain.
"We are playing at home and have to prove to South Africans that we are serious about going all the way to the continental and global championships."
"We are happy with the enthusiasm displayed by the boys since we assembled to prepare for the game," said Solly Luvhengo, Majimbos' assistant coach.
"Malawi might be a closed book, but the fact they beat Zimbabwe 2-1 in Harare last Sunday will tell you they are a good side.
"We cannot afford to underestimate them, otherwise we will be embarrassed. We have to take a comfortable lead to Blantyre in two weeks' time."
