Take some Glam Squad style tips from the top lookers

Gugu Sibiya

Now that we are steadily moving into Spring and eventually summer, women need all the help they can get.

With that in mind I suggest you make a date with Style Her Famous, on the Style Network that airs on Mondays at 10.30pm.

Most people go through life without ever finding their true style. Young women battle bouts of inferiority complex as a result of having to stand on the sidelines watching their more sophisticated friends enjoying their lives - thanks to this little elusive thing called style.

The niche is easily filled by Style Her Famous.

The series focuses on making the makeover dreams of young girls come true. It's as easy as pie. If they are lucky enough to be selected for the privilege they will be transformed by the gorgeous Jay Manuel into looking like their idols.

He is not only a dreamboat but an America's Next Top Model star! His job is to transform ducklings into swans.

Manuel, The Style Network's half-hour weekly series host, mentors women through each stage of their makeover.

Taking inspiration from a favourite celebrity, Manuel and the show's professional "Glam Squad" work to find and bring to life the unique personal style of each participant.

Hooked yet? You'd better be because new episodes this season feature looks inspired by Drew Barrymore, Beyoncé Knowles, Scarlett Johansson, Tyra Banks, Gwyneth Paltrow and numerous other Hollywood glamour queens.

All this leads up to the newly made over "star" having the opportunity to model her updated look in her very own high fashion photo shoot led by a notable fashion photographer and art-directed by Manuel.
