For the third year in a row Kelly Personnel walked away with the main prize at the CareerJunction awards held on Thursday evening at the Theatre on the Track, Kyalami.

The awards, now in their fifth year, are aimed at honouring the cream of the recruitment industry.

This year over 6 000 nominations were received for the three categories - large, medium and small industries - which were whittled down to 45 for the night.

Sponsored by Sowetan and Sunday World, the event attracts the who's who of the recruitment industry and the glitz and glamour associated with the event attracted over 400 guests.

Sowetan and Sunday World acting publisher Jason Sequeira said: "These awards have helped raise the standards and profile of the recruitment industry."

Kim Meszaros, marketing manager of Kelly, said: "We are overwhelmed, excited and it's an honour for us to be recognised."

The winners were:

Large agency: Kelly;

Medium agency: Emmanuels Advance;

Small agency Deloitte Consulting Business Processing Outsourcing.
