Switzerland's sensational drumming group, the Top Secret Drum Corps, is coming to South Africa next month for first local Tattoo Festival.
The group's drumming skills will dazzle locals for four days at Montecasino, Fourways, between September 11 and September 14.
The group was formed in 1990 by a group of enthusiastic, talented young drummers from the beautiful Swiss city of Basel.
Their drumming is a combination of clockwork precision and visual effects, which include drumstick juggling and flag spinning. It's a display of astonishing virtuosity and energy.
Featuring snare drummers, bass drummers and a colour guard, the band first shot to fame when it performed at the Nova Scotia International Tattoo in Canada.
Since then the Top Secret Drum Corps has performed in the UK, China, Australia and the US, among other countries.
Montecasino general manager Steve Howel says: "We are delighted that the Top Secret Drum Corps have agreed to come to South Africa.
"They are going to blow you away and will leave you begging for more," Howell says.
Tickets for this drumming extravaganza are available at Computicket.
