Correctional Services said that “matters are under control” at Johannesburg’s Sun City Prison on Wed.
Top referee Ace Ncobo will blow the final whistle in his career in the SuperSport United U-19 Cup final at the Safa Development Centre in Soweto on Sunday.
This was made possible by Irvin Khoza, PSL chairman and SuperSport International as a tribute to Ncobo before he hangs up his whistle.
Ncobo, the 2007-2008 PSL referee of the season, has been recently appointed as the new PSL general manager.
"It's really a good way to throw the whistle into the stands and lead the way for the next generation of referees to follow in my footsteps.
"It's my wish that after the final on Sunday, the referee of the tournament will receive my entire kit, whistle and cards so that he or she can aspire to the heights that I've achieved and will go even further," said Ncobo. - Sowetan
