Millions intended to be spent on the health needs of Eastern Cape residents have gone missing from d.
As the 2009 general election draws close, the Azanian People's Organisation has gone on a charm offensive in Limpopo.
Azapo will hold a rally in Moletji, north-west of Polokwane tomorrow to launch a new branch in the Capricorn region and to woo supporters.
The gathering is also part of the party's Women's Day celebrations.
Azapo president Mosibudi Mangena is expected to speak alongside chief Solly Moloto and local indunas. Mangena is expected to receive a rousing welcome from the villagers who sheltered him for two years when he returned from exile in 1994 before he became party president after the merger of the Black Consciousness Movement of Azania and Azapo.
It was in Moletji where Mangena lived and finished his two books, Quest for True Humanity, and Twin Worlds.
Regional organiser Moses Mphahlele said they were expecting many women at the gathering as it will provide the perfect platform for them to celebrate their day in style.
This weekend's Azapo convention is likely to be the party second biggest gathering after the June 16 rally in Mokopane.
