There is no grass-roots development of players that will lead to transformation.

Sporting bodies spend money on expensive overseas coaches and prima-donna players, when they should spend as much, if not more, on developing sport nurseries so that players can be nurtured and trained to win.

Big companies are willing to invest, but who wants to invest money in palookas? Most invest in winners, which is why rugby has such a high profile, but soccer struggles.

If we develop winners we see results and an added bonus in the long run is the transformation everyone longs for.

Stop being so impatient and focus on the important stuff, which is winning.
