Athletics South Africa held a successful corporate governance workshop in Tshwane at the weekend, Molatelo Malehopo, ASA acting general manager, said yesterday.
Leonard Chuene, ASA president, was part of the council board members who attended the two-day workshop.
"This workshop is the second step in our strategy development process, which is intended to make Athletics South Africa a world-class organisation," said Chuene.
The exercise demonstrates the athletics governing body's commitment to good business practice and transparency in sport, a move that will hopefully be emulated by other federations. - Meshack Khotha
