An abundance of fine office furniture and other miscellaneous lots comes up for auction next week when Park Village Auctions (PVA) presents the combined inventory of two liquidations.
The sale, reportedly one of the largest of its kind to date, is expected to attract a large number of bidders from dealers to corporates of all sizes, says PVA spokesman Leroy Augustyn.
The inventory, comprising some 500 lots, will be offered next Thursday at the Park Village Auctions warehouse, Gold Reef Industrial Park, 60 First Street, Booysens Reserve, Johannesburg South, starting at 10.30am. Viewing is on the preceding day from 10am to 3pm.
The auction features a variety of desks, credenzas, book cases, work stations, filing cabinets, stationery cupboards and boardroom suites. A number of quality cherry wood and oak pieces are also included.
Additional lots have been acquired through the liquidation of other interests and include computers, printers, copiers, fax machines, TV sets, DVD players, microwave ovens and kitchen accessories. There are also a number of bedroom and lounge suites to be auctioned.
The auction will be of interest to a wide spectrum of buyers given the variety of lots, says Augustyn.
"Office owners should find the sale appealing and there are some real bargains. That said, there's something for everyone and we anticipate a great turnout and an exciting sale, given the quality of the offering."
