Morula Hotel and Casino will celebrate women's achievements with a huge music concert on August 10.
The concert will start at 10am and the line-up will feature women artists only.
They will include Lira, Chomee, Basadi-Ladies in Jazz, Letang, Nomvula and Tsholo.
Linda Kekana, one of the country's most talented jazz singers, is among the artists billed to chase the winter blues away.
Born and bred in Atteridgeville, Gauteng's Mecca of jazz, Kekana's angelic but powerful voice will definitely mesmerise music lovers.
The all-female jazz band Basadi has proven that sisters too can do it. They are a successful band that has a solid following in the country.
Ever since Basadi's inception 10 years ago, the band has proven that jazz is not exclusively a male thing.
Basadi's style is diverse, rich and varied. They will take you through South African favourites such as phata-phata, blues and rock. The organisers said Letang, Ayanda and Lira had been added to give the day's line-up a balance.
Tickets will cost R120.
