It's all systems go for tonight's box-and-dine tournament that will be presented by Dingaan Thobela- Knockout Boxing Promotions at Emperors Palace's Theatre of Marcellus.

The main contest features Basil Ray and Bully Muravha over six rounds in the heavyweight division.

The winner will become a mandatory challenger to SA heavyweight champion Osborne Machimana.

Fainthearted fight fans must stay away from the Theatre of Marcellus because the fight is bound to be a bone-crunching contest.

Murvaha, 19, from Venda, who is trained in Gauteng by George Khosi, is nicknamed "The Bulldozer" while Ray is known as "No Apologies".

Diners will also get to see the return of South Africa's lost son, Reuben Groenewald, who has been campaigning in England for eight years.

This 30-year-old fighter from Brakpan, who last fought here on October 24 2000 when he stopped Nigerian Cyprian Emeti in 11 rounds for the WBU junior middleweight belt, was based in Manchester.

Groenewald went on to add the WBU middle and WBF Intercontinental super middleweight titles. He chalked up nine wins (2 KOs) and four defeats in England.

Groenewald will fight Toto Mubenga from the Democratic Republic of Congo over six rounds in the light heavyweight division.

Groenewald has 20 wins (7 KOs), six losses and three draws while Mubenga, 38, has 12 victories (3 KOs) and six defeats.

Also making a comeback is Anton "The Irish Terror" Gilmore who last fought on March 22 1997 when he dropped a points decision to Cassius Baloyi for the WBU super bantamweight title.

Gilmore will dust of the cobwebs in a six rounder in the lightweight class with Thompson Mokwana. There will be five more bouts. Action kicks off at 7pm.

The event is sold out.
