The Vodacom Challenge's "Yoh, Yoh, Yoh" winning feeling ignited a passion for life in the hearts of excited Vodacom Greatest Supporters Experience Competition winners Kutazwa Dom and Thanduxolo Bingwa.
Dom and Bingwa were two of 10 lucky winners of the competition, which allowed for the winners and their partners to fly on an all-expenses-paid-for trip to all four legs of the challenge involving Vodacom-sponsored clubs Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs, and English Premiership giants Manchester United.
Dom, a nurse from Tuscan village in Bronkhorstspruit, Mpumalanga, said that the winners' trip to the historic Robben Island, off the Western Cape coast, is something that she would cherish for the rest of her life.
"The prize allowed me to watch top-class international soccer and also to have the opportunity of visiting historical places," said Dom, who, like the other competition winners, had never stayed in a hotel or been on an plane prior to the trip.
"It is the first time in my life that I have been treated like a VIP and it has been an absolute treat to watch the games. It has been absolutely amazing."
Bingwa, from Gugulethu in Cape Town, said that flying around the country had been a life-changing experience for him.
"My family keeps phoning me from home and they cannot believe how excited I sound."
