The Mbombela Up in Smoke Festival is back by popular demand.
It takes place at the Nelspruit Showgrounds in Mpumalanga on September 6.
The line-up includes Oliver Mtukudzi, Lesotho Legend Tshepo Tshola, Mafikizolo, Kelly Khumalo, Mr Staff, Bantu Soul, Ashaan, 3Sum, Chissa, Black Chain and DJ Sdunkero.
Zimbabwean Mtukudzi's impressive stage performance will dazzle music lovers. Tshepo Tshola will introduce his latest album, Ask Me. Known as the Village Pope, Tshola is a versatile jazz artist.
Promoter Prosper Mukwaiyiwa says the aim of the festival is to educate people about crime and substance abuse.
"Since Mbombela is a host city for the 2010 Fifa World Cup it's important to educate citizens about crime and substance abuse. We'll donate 20percent of the gate takings to Friends for Life, an HIV-Aids hospice, and Safa."
