The British catwalk star was fined and sentenced to 200 hours' community service last month after assaulting two police officers on board a British Airways flight at London's Heathrow Airport in April this year.
Campbell claims the former Spice Girl was by her side throughout the entire court ordeal.
She says: "When I was going through a hard time recently she was immediately on the phone, asking me how I was doing and saying, 'I hope you're well'. She was very sweet.
"I speak to Victoria pretty regularly about normal, mundane stuff.
"We share girl stuff and she is so funny - people just don't know her or get her." - Wenn
