Controversial businessman Prosper Mkwaiwa claims his archenemy, budding Mpumalanga events promoter Flawwa Ka-Nhleko, is behind the break-up of his relationship with fiancee Kelly Khumalo.

Mkwaiwa, who allegedly cheated on Khumalo with a waitress, Lilly Segooa, says Ka-Nhleko used Segooa and the media "to get back at me".

Mkwaiwa says he had his first fallout with Ka-Nhleko after an accident that killed DJ Buddha and injured L'vovo in September last year.

"I paid him to take DJ Buddha and L'vovo to Johannesburg after the performance [in Delmas]," Mkwaiwa says. "He got angry with me because I refused to pay for his car after the insurance refused to pay him R98000 because the driver had had a fake driver's licence.

"He paid Lilly to besmirch my name in the media, which cost me my relationship with Kelly."

Last week Segooa called Sowetan to confess that she had lied.

"I lied," Segooa said. "I will call back later when I have airtime and tell you everything."

When asked to give us her number she refused. She never came back to us.

Mkwaiwa says he was surprised when Segooa claimed that she had had a relationship with him.

"I do not know this girl from a bar of soap," he says. "I traced her to a bank in Witbank. When we spoke she broke down and confessed that Flawwa was behind the whole thing. When I confronted him he denied it."

Mkwaiwa says though he is angry he enjoys his space without Khumalo.

Khumalo says: "I don't want to be part of this rubbish. This is very childish."

Ka-Nhleko denies being behind the Segooa saga.

"Yes, I hate Prosper but I don't have the time to plot against him. He must leave me alone and concentrate on the fact that he is going bankrupt."
