Well-known ANC veteran Selinah Tonki Rampa will be buried on Thursday.

Mabodilanyana, as she was affectionately known, was an ANC Women's League member for more than four decades.

She died at her Rockville home in Soweto last Sunday, aged 92.

Rampa started her schooling at the Methodist school in Western Native Township in 1923. She completed her primary education, the highest available to black children at the time.

An independent entrepreneur, in 1988 she set up her own coffee cart business, catering for business leaders and punters at the Turffontein and New Market race courses.

Rampa will be buried at Westpark Cemetery. The funeral service will be held at the Methodist Church in Moroka, Soweto, from 8am.

She is survived by her son, daughter, daughter-in-law and 11 grandchildren.
