Kaizer Chiefs coach Muhsin Ertugral believes his players will impress when they meet Manchester United in the Vodacom Challenge at Newlands Stadium in Cape Town tomorrow afternoon.
Ertugral said this during the Chiefs media open day at Naturena yesterday.
He said players were emotional and others were excited about playing the European and English Premiership champions.
The Red Devils warrive this morning at Cape Town International Airport.
Said Ertugral: "It's best that my players will be playing one of the best teams in the world. A team of Manchester United's magnitude will help us spot our mistakes and will also expose our limitations.
"It's good that we meet them in the pre-season and that will help us to perform when the Absa Premiership kicks off. We're determined to play and win against United and beat Orlando Pirates in the derby next week and finally win the challenge," said Ertugral.
He said he was going to switch Siphiwe Tshabalala from the wing to playing behind the strikers because he is an aggressive, attacking player.
"I want to give him a free role and I believe that he will fit in like a glove in that berth."
He said they need to score more goals, which was a problem last season, and will look for a quality striker.
He also pointed out that they have acquired new signings and that the players such as Valerie Nehayo and Reneilwe Letsholonyane were still adapting.
The coach said he would not like to put pressure on striker Jose Torealba.
He said there had been no word on Colins Mbesuma, but they were keen to sign the striker.
