Stop moaning and play football

Now that professional soccer in Limpopo has gone down the drain I, as a resident of the province, want to highlight the following facts that let to the relegation of Black Leopards and the failure of Dynamos to gain promotion.

Black Leopards must realise that they will never find a coach who can score goals - only players can.

The only way the club can regain promotion is for management to learn to support the coaches they employ.

The less said about Dynamos' management the better.

I had an opportunity to listen to Pat Malabela on Thobela FM. The man just likes listening to himself.

If he is not complaining about the people of Limpopo not supporting his team, he is complaining about the lack of support from the provincial government.

I think Malabela feels that the people of Limpopo must support his team merely for their being in the province.

Malabela, go out and recruit the people of Limpopo (not only Nkowankowa) for support and see to it that your team plays attractive football to satisfy the supporters.

Surely football is a business nowadays and supporters are free to watch and support whoever they like.

So, stop moaning and play football.

Mothokgo Lehulabele,

Jane Furse
