Superintendent Danelia Veldhuizen said two gunmen in a blue VW Jetta waited for their victims in C Section on Sunday night.
"The victims arrived in a red Golf and the suspects opened fire. The Golf sped off and the shooting continued up until N Section when the driver lost control of the Golf."
The driver was found dead at the scene. The passenger was shot several times but survived. He is in a critical condition at a local hospital.
No arrests have been made. - Sapa
