SuperSport United Under-15s earned the right to represent` South Africa in the international Manchester United Under-15 Nike Cup scheduled for Manchester in August.

Matsatsantsa a Pitori's juniors achieved this after beating Balfour Alexander 2-0 in the final of the prestigious tournament at Safa Development Centre in Pimville yesterday.

United played as a unit from the onset as they outthought and outclassed the minnows in almost every department.

They surged ahead in the 25th minute when a lovely cross from S'nethemba Ngidi was beautifully converted by the unmarked Sboniso Mncwabe who headed past helpless Alexander goalie Mpho Gumede.

Before the dust could settle, United were 2-0 up through striker Cebo Meyiwa whose 25m thunderbolt kissed the back of the net.

The Balfour outfit found their rhythm in the opening minutes of the second half as they created numerous scoring chances.

But their firing squad marshalled by Kagiso Kgatitsoe struggled to penetrate United's solid defence of Vusi Ntshangase and company.

At the end of the game Stan Matthews, United's director, and his development staff rushed onto the pitch and congratulated the boys.

United's coach Solly Luvhengo said: " This is a great moment for the boys to get an opportunity to be exposed to an international tournament. It was good to start the tournament at a low ebb and finish up being the champions.''

Keagan Dolly of School of Excellence walked away with the player of the tournament award while United's Ngidi grabbed the top goal scorer of the tournament with five goals to his credit.
