Joyous Celebration's fine sounds will echo across the smoky blue mountains that characterise the kingdom of Swaziland on August 2 from 7.30pm. The joy will continue until 6am.

Set for Manzini's Mavuso Exhibition Centre, the festival will also unleash some of the heavyweights in the gospel arena.

Joyous Celebration, whose harmonious sounds, stunning repertoire, choreography and choruses cuts across genres, will bring with them the excitement that has become part of their presentation.

They will be accompanied by Jabu Hlongwane and his soulful sounds, Mthunzi Namba on piano and their inimitable conductor Lindelani Mkhize.

Adding to the razzmatazz, pomp and ceremony, will be the dynamic Sipho Makhabani, who is coordinating the show.

Joining him will be gifted singer Hlengiwe Mhlaba, the high on rotation Tshepiso Motaung, Hlongwane, Namba and Ntokozo Mbambo.

Local up-and-coming Swazi groups will also get their moment in the spotlight. They will be given a chance to perform with the mighty Joyous Celebration.

Headlining the Swazi crew is the talented France Dlamini, Shongwe and Khuphuka and Emagawu Gawu.

Swaziland, whose love of gospel is well documented, will bask in the fine sounds of the best gospel ambassadors, taking pride in the fact that their own are also representing them on a star-studded stage.

Tickets to the Ligwalagwala and Channel S sponsored show is R150.
