For the first time yesterday, the mother of former Banyana Banyana player Eudy Simelane came to the Springs regional court where five men accused of murdering her daughter are appearing.
But it was a short visit for Molly Simelane, 62. The case was postponed again. The state had not received her daughter's DNA results and photos from the police forensic department.
Magistrate Betty Lesufi rebuked the state for not having the evidence ready. She postponed the case to July 31.
The five accused are Tshepo Pitsha, Khumbulani Magagula, Johannes Mahlangu, Themba Mvubu and Thabo Mphiti.
