Nedbank Cup finalists Mpumalanga Black Aces will play in the Mpumalanga Premier's International Football Cup on Sunday without the services of head coach Kenny Ndlazi.

Ndlazi's contract was due to expire on June 30.

But Steve Dlwathi, Ndlazi's manager, said yesterday: "Ndlazi and Aces have parted ways following a financial disagreement over a new contract. Aces failed to match what we required."

Dlwathi was unhappy that Ndlazi's demands were revealed by a "faceless" Aces official. These include a R360000 signing-on fee, a R50000 a month salary, car, cellphone and bonuses.

When Peter Koutrolis, Aces' chief executive, was approached for comment yesterday he asked to be called after 10 minutes. But when Sowetan called later, the phone just rang.

Mario Morfou, Aces' co-director, said on their website: "The offer [to Ndlazi] was extremely generous and we were confident that the package would have exceeded that of all NFD and many of the Premiership coaches."

Morfou also confirmed negotiations with Paul Dolezer.
