Olympians David Hall and Thabo Zulu, who brought back three gold medals from the recent Special World Summer Games in Shanghai, China, will be joined in this year's Discovery 702 Walk the Talk by Ephraim Mohlakane and William Masina.

Hall is a swimmer and tenpin bowler, Zulu a swimmer, Mohlakane a floor hockey champion, while Masina is a track runner. They will be among hundreds, if not thousands, of people in this year's 702 Walk the Talk on July 27 at Marks Park in Johannesburg.

The determined quartet will take part in the 5km Fun Walk, along with about 100 other members of the Special Olympics team who are gearing to give fellow walkers a run for their money.

This year, the walk has taken on a new spin with the introduction of the 30km and 15km timed events for the more experienced walkers.

The 8km walk will be open to corporates, clubs, families and friends, as will the 5km Fun Walk, along a safe and secure route for children, junior walkers, prams, dogs on leads, the disabled and pensioners.
