Linkman Brian Kgafane has flown into the aviary of Moroka Swallows, who are in the process of rebuilding their team.

Thabo Moloto, Kgafane's business manager, yesterday confirmed that the midfielder has signed for three seasons with the Dube Birds.

Kgafane joined Swallows from Thanda Royal Zulu, who missed relegation to the First Division by a whisker.

He left PJ Stars for Royal two years ago, when they were still known as Benoni Premier United. Kgafane also had a stint at Orlando Pirates.

"We are very happy with the manner in which the whole process has been handled by all parties," said Moloto.

The Dube Birds have parted ways with head coach Ian Gorowa, and will unveil a new mentor in Brazilian Julio Cesar Leal, the former coach of AmaZulu.

Moloto added that defender Boeller Tshabalala has joined Free State Stars from Winnerspark.
