Merafong Demarcation Forum chairman Jomo Mogale has threatened to sue the North West education department if he is not reinstated as a teacher.

"They can call me whatever they want to, but I will fight to get my job back," Mogale said after the Khutsong residents' marched to the ANC head office in Johannesburg last week.

He said the local SA Communist Party branch would mobilise residents and march to the education department's offices in Carletonville this week to demand that his expulsion be lifted.

Mogale was expelled last year by the education department for instigating unrest and taking part in the destabilisation of schooling d uring protests against Khutsong's incorporation into North West.

The demarcation issue is now waiting for a decision of the constitutional court.
