It is time again for the people of Limpopo to enjoy themselves at the thrilling Polokwane Arts Festival.

The art cocktail, comprising music, film, theatre, literature and crafts, returns to the peaceful province between June 17 and 22.

Kick-starting this exciting festival from June 17 to June 20 between 2pm and 6pm, will be captivating film and theatre productions.

Setting the theatre stage alive will be the exciting plays No Room for Squares and Limpopo the Musical .

Hoisting the flag high for flicks will be feature films and short movies in various community halls such as Moletjie Moshate Hall, Bana Ba Thari Special School in Dikgale, Mankweng Community Hall, Molepo Community Hall and Masidibu High School Hall in Seshego.

For an engaging session with some great minds, come and listen to South Africa's adored poets and authors, Lebo Mashile, Don Mattera and Letepe Maisela, among others. The literary giants will be reading their poetry and excerpts from their books.

Karen Zoid will chase the winter blues away with her red-hot rock music at the Library Gardens Auditorium on June 21 at 8pm.

Providing a befitting finale will be a jazz concert on Sunday, June 22, at the Chuenes Resort from noon until 6pm. It will unleash creme de la creme jazz luminaries such as the seasoned Dr Malombo Philip Tabane, Selaelo Selota, Tshepo Tshola, Sipho "Hotstix" Mabuse and Step 1.
