The disciplinary hearings of suspended Lesedi FM presenter Mamontha Motaung and former programmes manager Mohlalefi "Wire" Khoali are due to start next week in Bloemfontein.

Motaung's hearing is set for Monday and Tuesday and Khoali's will be heard from Wednesday to Friday.

Motaung is former presenter Thuso Motaung's wife.

Their representative, Albert Makgoba, said the dates were ultimately set after the original ones in April were cancelled.

"After waiting for the SABC for weeks we can now finally proceed with the hearings," Makgoba said.

He said the two were accused of insubordination.

Makgoba's witnesses include Thuso and suspended station manager Pula Pula Mothibi, whose hearing is also still pending.

The Motaungs and business partner Joshua Ramme were acquitted by the Johannesburg commercial crimes court in March after they were accused of defrauding the SABC of R32 million in airtime sales.

The Johannesburg high court on Tuesday overturned the judgment in terms of which Thuso's banking and investment accounts were frozen.

His houses and cars had been returned after his acquittal.

SABC spokesman Kaizer Kganyago said that the first hearing was postponed because of logistical reasons.
