Mpumalanga Black Aces are set to lose their coach Kenny Ndlazi if they can't meet his demands.
Steve Dluuthi, Ndlazi's manager, said: "We have received a lot of offers which we are considering. Ndlazi has proven himself in South African football and won't come cheap."
Top of the list to secure Ndlazi are Bloemfontein Celtic, who are said to have put in a good offer.
Botswana's national under-23 team is also reported to be vying for the services of the former Amaglug-glug assistant coach, which he guided to a historic 3-1 success over Brazil at the Sydney Olympics finals in 2000 when Shakes Mashaba was suspended.
"We have agreed that we will take a job that will offer Ndlazi the best working conditions. Ndlazi has been short-changed for too long, moving from one club to another without getting the recognition he deserves. Secondly, we want conditions of employment where there will be no interference from management," said Dluuthi, adding they will announce Ndlazi's next move soon.
"That he coached Aces in the past season doesn't mean they will automatically get him as we are looking for a better offer.
"Ndlazi would rather stay at home than be paid peanuts," said Dluuthi.
Ndlazi's contract with Amazayoni expires tomorrow.
Aces' Thabo "T-Bose" Moroape confirmed to Sowetan that they had a meeting with Ndlazi yesterday but didn't reach agreement.
"We are still talking to the coach."
