The attacks were unleashed on unsuspecting foreign nationals on Sunday morning when a group of people accosted them in Mohlaletsi village in the Sekhukhune area.

Provincial department of local government and housing spokesman Clayson Monyela said 14 men had been arrested.

The suspects have appeared in court and were denied bail. They will appear again on June 4. - Frank Maponya
