Migrants are not taking our jobs

The xenophobic attacks in South Africa show that people like being copycats.

The xenophobic attacks in South Africa show that people like being copycats.

The attacks started in Alex but now the whole country is painted red, with innocent people being killed for being foreigners.

Some South Africans have had foreigners as neighbours for many years. Now, because of the stupid act of shortsighted fools, people are turning against them.

I urge all the churches to teach people to act against these attacks, because I am sure some of those killing foreigners are churchgoers.

Foreigners are not taking our jobs. The problem with some South Africans is that they do not want to take the initiative. We live life as if someone owes us something and will bring what we want to our doorsteps.

Foreigners do not expect manna from heaven. They do the tough jobs that South Africans do not want.

Foreigners are not scared to start small businesses. We see them carrying home-made items in the hot sun while we sit under the trees.

All the teams in the PSL have foreign players that we cheer every weekend.

In 2010 we want people from all over the world to come to South Africa to support the World Cup.

What do we expect if we do not stop this nonsense?
