South Africa's leading interior decorators and designers will showcase their talent at the Rooms on View exhibition.

This is without a doubt the country's leading decor and design exhibition.

It takes place from May 29 to June 1 at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg.

Organisers are confident that it will, for the eighth time, attract visitors from across South Africa and other countries.

Here you will be able to view the finest interior decorations, furniture design, local fabrics and many lifestyle items.

Rooms on View managing director Sumari Krige says unlike other South African decor shows, this exhibition gives visitors an opportunity to view the individual signatures of many diverse and carefully selected exhibitors.

Krige says: "The criteria is that each exhibitor presents a room setting in its entirety.

"Exhibitors showcase their talents and wares in a unique, appealing way to enable visitors to visualise a fresh approach to what's possible in their homes.

"It also shows where the decor and design industry is headed."

Top American designer Jamie Drake will officially open Rooms on View.

Highlights will include the Dulux Designers Pavilion where five of South Africa's top decorators and designers will showcase their signature styles.

The theme for this year's pavilion is Colour.

The house exhibit stall returns to the exhibition for the third time. This year their iLunch will be curated by Laureen Rossouw, with all materials sponsored by PG Bison.

It will exhibit a selection of tables with everything a hostess must have on such a table.

Moet & Chandon is also on the list. Guests visiting its stylish bar can look forward to a luxurious, comfortable seating area, where one can meet friends, relax and enjoy a glass of chilled champagne.

The Bombay Sapphire Cocktail Bar is another display that you should make sure of visiting at the exhibition.
