The question of xenophobia attacks will be added to the list of grievances when civil society members stage a protest march against rising food prices and the Zimbabwean political and economic crisis on Saturday.

The marches, to take place in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, have been organised jointly by the Congress of South African Trade Unions and its affiliates, SACP Zimbabwe Solidarity Forum in South Africa, Swaziland Solidarity Network, Young Communists League, SA Non-governmental organisations, Disabled People South Africa, Treatment Action Campaign and the Anti-Privatisation Forum. - Eric Naki
