These endless attacks on fellow Africans must be stopped immediately.
I will not waste my time to remind the good citizens of South Africa how well the so-called foreigners accommodated us and took care of our freedom fighters during our liberation struggle.
Nowadays, criminals claiming to have legitimate concerns about crime blame the very same crime on poor brothers and sisters from warravaged African countries.
These people have fled their countries because they simply want a better and peaceful life for themselves and their families.
We unfortunately have a situation in which real criminals continue to mislead communities in Atteridgeville, Alexandra and other places, accusing foreigners of criminal activities.
We have capable law enforcement agencies that will act swiftly if there is any criminal activity, regardless of what nationality is involved.
Why don't we simply report those we suspect of acting criminally rather than attack and kill all foreigners?
These attacks are not innocent. There are agents provocateurs who want to destabilise our continent and ensure that the unity of Africa is not realised.
Let us unite against xenophobia and criminality.
