A Basketball Without Borders (BWB) camp will be held in Johannesburg in September and the programme looks set to benefit a horde of aspiring basketball players from across South Africa.

A number of top basketball players and coaches from the United States' National Basketball Association (NBA) will be part of the camp that will be held from September 3 to 7.

The highly regarded camp will be staged for the sixth year running at the prestigious American International School in the city.

The programme forms part of the basketball development and community outreach initiative and it is managed in conjunction with Basketball South Africa (BSA) and the International Basketball Federation (Fiba).

The camp will culminate in the selection of Under-19 players who will take part in another European training camp in Istanbul, Turkey. - Mcelwa Nchabeleng
