The division among Mpumalanga karate structures has prompted Karate South Africa (KSA) to intervene.

Cass Sehloho, KSA president, confirmed that he will meet all Mpumalanga karate organisations to resolve the division.

The meeting is set for Witbank health hall on May 16 at 6pm.

"The meeting will be to try to unite all karate styles in Mpumalanga," said Sehlolo.

Meanwhile, Humphrey Sikhosana, Mpumalanga Karate Association (MKA) chairman, said they want to use their May 31 provincial karate championships to select a strong team. The team will represent the province at Karate South Africa's national championships next month. - Richard Nkosi
