A 38-year-old KwaMsane, northern KwaZulu-Natal, man was shot dead after leaving a wedding ceremony, police said yesterday.
Captain Jabulani Mdletshe said three wedding guests were leaving the ceremony when they were accosted by a 10-man gang.
"Shots were fired and one man was hit in the chest." Mbhekeni Mkhwanazi died at the scene after being shot. The two others ran off and were unharmed, police said.
Police were unable to say if the gang were also guests at the same wedding. - Sapa
