No doubt Metrorail can't keep the trains running on time and ignores its customers.
No doubt angry commuters' jobs are at risk when they arrive late day after day. And no doubt in an accountable system heads would roll.
But that does not excuse causing millions of rands of damage each time the trains arrive late - not least because we, the taxpayers, will ultimately have to pay.
The right way to deal with this matter would be to vote out the self-serving bums who create the problems and have neither the skill nor inclination to set them right.
