Correctional Services said that “matters are under control” at Johannesburg’s Sun City Prison on Wed.
Pretty Mthimkhulu, a 24- year-old labourer, says she is very angry with her former boss Collin Tederera.
"I was only 21 years old when he employed me in 2003,Mthimkhulu says. "He was in construction. I was just helping in the offices.
"I'm sad and depressed today to find that I have a company that owes the South Africa Revenue Service thousands of rands. He used me. His company was called Micromath Trading."
She says her employer was battling to make ends meet when she joined the company.
"I remember him asking me to complete employment forms," she says. "I think this was when he created a close corporation and made me part owner of Micromath without my consent."
Mthimkhulu says Tederera acquired contracts to the tune of R54million before leaving her in the lurch.
Last week Tederera got seven letters of demand from suppliers through their attorneys, demanding about R200000 from Micromath.
But Tederera referred these to Mthimkhulu for payment.
