Moroka Swallows' development side are the inaugural champions of the Marks Park Under-15 Soccer Tournament.
The junior Beautiful Birds achieved the feat after defeating Randburg FC 2-0 in the final at Marks Park sport grounds in Emmarentia on Sunday.
Swallows scored eight goals in the tournament without conceding.
The two-day tournament, hosted by Marks Park FC, started on Saturday with 13 clubs from all over Gauteng taking part.
Swallows beat Marks Park FC 2-0 in the semifinal, while Randburg FC defeated Mondeor FC on penalties in the other match.
Paul Habib, head coach of the Swallows academy, said the tournament was part of their preparations for the league starting in Germiston on Sunday.
"It was a well organised tournament, I was highly impressed with the competition too," said Habib, whose Birds take on Elsburg in their opening league encounter.
