The four best teams from the National First Division are one step closer to playing in the rich Absa Premiership after they qualified for the promotion playoffs.
The teams are FC AK and Dynamos, who qualified in the Inland Stream, and Maritzburg United and Bay United who succeeded in the Coastal Stream.
Dynamos qualified in style when they hammered the relegated GaRankuwa United 6-0 in one-way traffic at Odi Stadium on Sunday.
FC AK and Maritzburg United finished on top of their streams and will meet each other to determine the first team to automatically earn promotion. The losers will be joined by the runners-up from the two streams and by the team that finishes 15th on the Premiership log, to decide the second club for promotion.
The playoff matches will be played on May 10 and 17 and the final will be played on May 17.
