Elsie Ntombikayise Mahlangu Jacobs had been a dedicated teacher for many years.
She completed her teaching course at Ndaleni in KwaZulu-Natal and worked as a teacher for 36 years until her death.
She was known for putting other people's welfare before her own. She was a member of the Children 4 Children organisation which cares for orphans and vulnerable children.
Her funeral service will be held tomorrow at St Joseph's Hall in Zone 4 Meadowlands at 9am and the cortege leaves for West Park Cemetery at 11.30am.
