A veil of secrecy has been drawn around Pastor Ose Oyakhilome, leader of the Randburg branch of the Christ Embassy Church.
Any attempt to even speak to her on the phone is as difficult as finding out where she lives. This raises suspicions that security around her has been beefed up.
Oyakhilome is married to Kenneth, brother of the controversial Pastor Chris.
When Sowetan called the church's Randburg offices yesterday and asked to speak to the pastor, a male voice said: "You can't speak to Pastor Ose. You just can't."
He insisted that we could only speak to Ose if we made an appointment.
He said we should leave our contact details and he would ask the pastor if she wanted to be interviewed.
When we told him that we were from Sowetan he said: "So you are the ones writing junk in the paper?
"You think we are fools if we don't respond to your stories, but we are not. You cannot touch the man of God.
"We believe in God and you will see what happens to the Sowetan in two or five years' time."
Sowetan spoke to some congregants of the Christ Embassy Church and none of them had any clue about their pastor or her private life.
They only knew what she did on Sundays - and that was confined to church duties.
One congregant, who also claimed to be a church leader, said: "I do not know where she lives and I do not know anyone who does.
"It's very difficult to get Pastor Ose's telephone numbers."
