Segale Aldrin Mogotsi, host of Metro FM's Saturday Household and the station's programming specialist, keeps on rising.

He has exchanged the mike for a top management position.

He has been given the influential post of programmes manager.

Mogotsi, who has been on radio for more than 20 years and has also worked for Radio Bop and Kaya FM, is excited over his new position.

Mogotsi, who takes up the position with immediate effect, said: "I look forward to working with our team of amazing on-air presenters, and to shaping the sound of the station for the future."

With a radio career that started at Radio Bop in 1988 as a presenter and on-air talent scout, Mogotsi has worked across a broad spectrum of stations.

He joined Metro FM from Kaya FM, where he was involved in music programming before he was poached by Metro "to fix" its music programming.

The position became vacant when former programmes manager Leon Manne was moved to another management position at the SABC.
