The disciplinary case against suspended Lesedi FM programmes manager Mohlalefi Khoali will start in Bloemfontein this morning.

Three days have been set aside for the hearing against Khoali, a buddy and supporter of the station's suspended presenter Thuso Motaung.

Khoali, with station manager Pula Pula Mothibi, was suspended last year by the broadcaster after Motaung was charged with defrauding the SABC.

"Khoali will face the DC tomorrow (today) at the SABC in Bloemfontein," SABC spokesman Kaizer Kganyago said yesterday.

Asked what Khoali was charged with, Kganyago said: "That is an employer and employee matter and I would not want to discuss that."

Khoali and Mothibi supported former Lesedi FM presenter Motaung, his wife Mamontha and business partner Joshua Ramme during the fraud trial that started last year.

The three were acquitted by the Johannesburg commercial crimes court last month after they were accused of defrauding the SABC of R32 million in airtime sales.

Motaung's properties, which included five luxury cars, three houses and furniture, were returned to him after his acquittal.

He is demanding his millions of rands worth of cash after his bank accounts were frozen by the state.
