HARARE - The politburo of Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe's ruling ZANU-PF party is to meet today to map out a strategy following weekend general elections, senior party sources said.
"The politburo will meet tomorrow to discuss the election outcome and explore what went wrong," one senior party official told AFP yesterday on condition of anonymity.
Another source, who is a member of the party's most senior organ, confirmed: "Yes we are meeting. It is a scheduled meeting but it is a very important one." - Sapa-AFP
