Adios, Super Saturday

The much-acclaimed sporting show Super Saturday is coming to an end tomorrow.

The much-acclaimed sporting show Super Saturday is coming to an end tomorrow.

Having enjoyed success for almost 10 years on SuperSport, the show will gracefully entertain viewers for the last time tomorrow by looking at the events that took place over the past decade.

With Neil Andrews as the lead presenter and Phumelani Msibi as co-presenter, the show has hosted local entertainers from Yvonne Chaka Chaka to international superstars such as Will Smith and Matt Damon.

The final show will look at some of the highlights over the years and will pay tribute to the late Bobo Moseneke, Super Saturday co-presenter and 5 FM sport anchor, who passed away in 2006.

The last show will also look at some of the charity work done in conjunction with Super Saturday and will give viewers a glance of the show's most memorable travels. - Sowetan
