Limpopo Softball Association's struggling team Kalkspruit Red Scorpions believe winning three of their remaining nine matches will see them avoiding relegation at the end of the season.

The troubled GaMashashane-based club's mission of avoiding the axe begins on Sunday.

They take on Mamaolo Rebels and Lebowakgomo Wildbeasts in their LimDev Super League match at Mamaolo Diamonds in GaMaphahlele.

They open their account against host Rebels at 10.30am, before engaging Wildbeasts three hours later.

WildBeasts are expected to collect another three points against struggling Seshego Raiders, who they entertain at 3.30pm.

In another match on the day, second-placed Moletlane Texas are firm favourites to walk over the inconsistent University of Limpopo at 10.30am and the Zebediela club will also have a date against Rebels in a match that could go either way at 3.30pm. University of Limpopo engage Seshego Cannons at 1pm.
